Sparky

This character was made for the game "Sparky and the Purr of Doom", with some fellow students and me at Danvik Folkehøyskole, which was a contestant in the Norwegian Game Awards. We didn't win anything or even a nomination, but we learned a lot from this project.

The character is the main character of our game. It's a robot dog.

Enough with the backstory, on to the juicy bits. The model was made, rigged and animated in Blender, and textured with Substance Painter. The rig is a very simple FK rig and has a few animation cycles that were required for the game (and even some of them wasn't even used). There are also more animation cycles that I made, but I am too lazy to render them to show them here :p
There is also a mouth to the dog, which was supposed to be for a melee attack, but it was eventually scrapped (and that's a good thing, because it looks terrifying),

Modelling and texturing wise is very simple, with some simple modelling here and there, with a glossy texture on most of the model.
